Silicon Valley jeweler Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry specializes in crafting exceptional jewelry to old-world standards of superior craftsmanship. However, this quality-driven mindset by no means precludes the company’s artisans from embracing contemporary styles, unorthodox fine jewelry materials, and unique silhouettes. The company’s California base in the SF Bay Area informs many of the Silvers’ designs with a West Coast sensibility fit for a discerning global clientele.
Each modern jewelry masterpiece is an artful cocktail of old and new inspirations. Stephen Silver’s fall selection of original jewelry designs brings the drama with a return to occasion dressing and strong style statements while showcasing rare gemstones and exceptional diamonds sourced from around the globe.
Fine jewelry goes freeform with these dramatic and fashionable diamond earrings from Stephen Silver. Every surface of their 4” length has been set with diamonds—12.84 carats total.
For extra security, Stephen Silver’s artisans included a safety chain connecting the earrings from front and back so they can be worn confidently and comfortably on any occasion.
Many antique jewels offered convertible functions to extend their use for different occasions, and Stephen Silver took inspiration from great estate jewelry from the past to create this versatile Diamond and Leather Convertible Necklace.
The clever diamond and braided leather necklace stuns as a choker necklace set with 41.42 total carats of brilliant round cut diamonds. It can also be transformed into a pair of stackable or mix and matchable bracelets, one fully diamond set, and the other a leather cuff accented with diamonds.
A contemporary design and edgier elements mark this Amethyst and Hand-woven Leather Necklace from Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry as a stand-out jewelry piece unlike any other. The piece-unique juxtaposes a deep purple 80.85-carat emerald cut amethyst with the soft sheen of golden handwoven leather.
The center stone, set in 18 karat yellow gold, also sparkles with a halo of pavé set diamonds totaling 1.60 carats, with an additional 0.15 carats of diamonds on its gold buckle. The versatile, adjustable necklace also allows the wearer to customize their fit from a choker necklace to a collar.
Stephen Silver regularly turns to tourmaline in his fine jewelry designs, as the colorful gem offers such a rich and inspiring palette of hues and variety of cuts. Here, the Silvers have chosen a unique color palette to enliven the classic three-stone ring.
The three-stone ring features a 6.43-carat cushion cut pink tourmaline center stone flanked by 1.17 total carats of blue trillion cut tourmalines. The raspberry-pink hue paired with blue-green side stones and set in precious 18 karat rose gold makes for a perfectly rich fall palette.
The classic curb bracelet gets an upscale update with Stephen Silver’s Cable Link Fashion Bracelet. Here, Stephen Silver offers a fine jewelry take on a favorite accessory, elevating it with precious metals and round brilliant cut diamonds.
A stand-out statement link crafted of 18 karat rose gold is burnish set with 3.00 total carats of round brilliant cut diamonds (H-I color and SI1-SI2), while the remaining links are 18 karat white gold.
Exquisite form meets sinuous function in these platinum Marquise Diamond Chandelier Earrings from Stephen Silver. The articulated chandelier earrings boast a total of 17.93 carats of marquise-cut diamonds (F-G color, VS2-SI1 clarity).

About Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry
Stephen Silver is a Silicon-Valley based gemologist, geologist, diamonteer, and philanthropist. Over the course of the last 40 years, Silver has established a reputation amongst his global network of jewelry industry contacts and elite gemstone collectors for his expertise in diamond and color gemstone cutting and jewelry design. Following his geology studies at San Diego State University and earning a Graduate Gemologist degree from GIA, Silver later returned to the San Francisco Bay Area to found an estate jewelry firm specializing in antiques and precious stones. There, he gained access to a number of history’s most important colored gems, including the famous Cullinan Blue Diamond necklace, a historic piece he went on to purchase and donate to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and later, the Pink Promise Diamond, which he recut and improved, resulting in a record price per carat at auction in 2017. Joined in recent years by son and Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry President Jared Silver, Stephen Silver expanded his business into a vertically integrated wholesale manufacture and retail operation of international reach with an office and retail boutique based in and around Menlo Park, California.
