ASPEN, CO (August 14, 2025) – The second annual Watch Week Aspen event concluded on August 9 after three days of immersive, collector-driven programming that brought the world of haute horlogerie to new heights in the Rocky Mountains. With more brands, more exclusive experiences, and a large collector turnout, the event solidified its reputation as North America’s premier summer gathering for luxury watch enthusiasts.
The multi-day celebration of wristwatches co-founded by Oliver Smith Jeweler, in partnership with the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, was established to spotlight Aspen’s vibrant watch retail scene and bring the global watch community together for an upscale summer destination experience unlike any other.
“We set out to create something truly different, a watch collector event that celebrates not just the product, but the lifestyle that surrounds them,” said Elizabeth Smith, Managing Director of Oliver Smith Jeweler and founder of Watch Week Aspen. “Watch Week Aspen brings together everything that makes Aspen unique — its natural beauty, its sophistication, and its passionate, discerning community.”
The 2025 edition of Watch Week Aspen featured local retail partners including Oliver Smith Jeweler, Avi & Co., Betteridge, and Meridian Jewelers, and a significantly expanded brand lineup that included: A. Lange & Söhne, Arnold & Son, Audemars Piguet, Bremont, Gerald Charles, Glashütte Original, H. Moser & Cie., IWC, Moritz Grossmann, Norqain, Oliver Smith Jeweler, Omega, and Zenith.

Each activation was designed to facilitate connection between brands, retail partners, and collectors at a number of group gatherings and at a decentralized network of retail stores and other venues spread in and around the fabric of Aspen’s scenic downtown.
Guests enjoyed exclusive access to new, never-before-seen timepieces from several exhibiting brands, including the limited-edition Glashütte Original Seventies Chronograph and the Arnold & Son DSTB RG Mint Green and DSTB PT Ascot Blue. Avi & Co. also unveiled the retailer’s new Ice Collection, while ZENITH showcased the brand’s 160th Anniversary Collection. Visitors were also among the first to visit the new Omega boutique.
Several brand executives were in attendance, including Charles Langlois (A. Lange & Söhne Americas), Guillame Gruet (Audemars Piguet), Davide Cerrato (Bremont), Stephen Kounas and Ali Marquez (Glashütte Original), and Ellen Sorensen (ZENITH).
Organizers estimate that more than 200 collectors attended Watch Week Aspen events throughout the weekend. According to Oliver Smith, founder of Oliver Smith Jeweler, “This year’s strong turnout proves that collectors are seeking deeper, more personal engagement with the brands they love, and there’s no better place to do that than in Aspen.”

Jimmy Chin, Academy Award-winning filmmaker and mountaineer: “The energy at Watch Week Aspen was something special. Getting to share stories from the mountains while exploring Bremont’s latest pieces reminded me what drew me to this partnership. These watches are built for people who pursue meaningful adventures, and that’s exactly the community we connected with in Aspen.”
Jeff Schmalbach, Collector, ATX Watch Society, @modernwatchguyatx: “This was my first time at Watch Week Aspen, and it totally lived up to all my expectations. To see the entire downtown Aspen come together and create a unified experience for collectors, brands, and retailers was amazing. These types of week-long fairs are such a great way for collectors and enthusiasts to learn about brands they can’t get as close to normally, build more depth in their knowledge of watchmaking and craftsmanship, and build wonderful relationships with the Watchfam and like-minded collectors. The events planned throughout the week were a fantastic blend of educational sessions, social networking with brands and enthusiasts alike, and some fun experiences of Aspen! Huge thanks to Elizabeth Smith and the full OSJ team for bringing this all together as well as Meridian, Betteridge, Material Good, and the many brands that came together as one group to make this experience a reality.”
Charles Langlois, President of A. Lange & Söhne Americas: “Aspen Watch Week’s second edition was a truly exceptional gathering of watch enthusiasts from across the country.”
