With the Pegasus Tourbillon, Ritmo Mundo revisits the eye-catching, beveled case design of the original Automatic model in a 42 mm format, while introducing two key upgrades. First, the Pegasus Tourbillon upgrades the transparent case top to full synthetic sapphire crystal. Secondly, the brand introduces the first-ever tourbillon movement in any Ritmo Mundo collection. The hand-assembled tourbillon movement, with its gold-plated barrel, offers a frequency of 28,800/hour, and a three-day, 72-hour power reserve.
The case bottom remains the ultra-durable and scratch-resistant transparent glass material first featured in the Pegasus automatic. This groundbreaking glass material still stands the test of durability, ranking 7 on the Mohs hardness scale – comparable to many precious, hard-wearing gemstones. The clear, exceptionally durable Pegasus case offers a panoramic view of the tourbillon movement as well as its mineral-reinforced glass mirror dial and metal dial ring, accented in a choice of turquoise, blue, or black.
The timepiece’s elements are seamlessly assembled layer by layer, with the fully transparent sapphire crystal case top affixed to the mineral-reinforced glass mirror dial and separate transparent crystal case back below by means of stainless-steel screws. The ergonomically engineered case clocks in at 11.5 mm thick.
