Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry offers countless ways to express personal style with highly unique, one-of-a-kind fine jewelry designs. For over 45 years, the Silicon Valley-based fine jeweler, led by gemologist and geologist Stephen Silver, has been widely renowned as one of the world’s leading jewelry houses specialized in extremely rare and precious colored gemstones, designing and producing some of the world’s rarest and most precious fine jewelry creations.
Whether a colored gemstone design, diamond toi et moi bypass ring, or other custom creation, Stephen Silver is the go-to expert for the highest quality alternative and colored gemstone engagement ring styles.
Red Spinel and Diamond Ring
Historically, spinel has often been mistaken for ruby due to its rich, romantic red hue. Like ruby, spinel also ranks high on the Mohs scale, just below ruby with a hardness of eight. This means spinel is an ideal candidate, scratch-resistant alternative gemstone candidate for an engagement ring that will stand up to everyday wear.
This one-of-a-kind ring from Stephen Silver features a deep red 2.85-carat oval cut unheated Mahenge spinel (GIA-certified), framed by 1.18 total carats of trillion cut diamonds (H-I color and SI1-SI2 clarity).
Radiant Cut Fancy Yellow Diamond Ring
The halo engagement ring makes a sunny statement with this original design from Stephen Silver.
The ring leads with a stunning 5.33 carat radiant cut Fancy Yellow diamond (VS1 clarity), accented with 0.42 total carats of round brilliant cut diamonds with milgrain detailing.
Pink Sapphire and Diamond Ring
Pink sapphires make a pretty and practical choice for an alternative engagement ring due to the stone’s hardness and scratch resistance, second only to diamonds.
Handmade in-house and set in a premium platinum setting, this original Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry design offers an impressive 5.30-carat oval cut, heated pink sapphire flanked by two half-moon cut diamonds which weigh a total of 1.30 carats.
Emerald-Cut Diamond Bypass Ring
Toi et moi rings bring together two different yet complementary gemstones. Like two soulmates, the twin gems in this distinctive ring style offer the perfect symbol of everlasting marital love. From a practical standpoint, the open bypass style of a toi et moi engagement ring means that it will fit comfortably for years to come, no resizing required.
This handcrafted platinum bypass ring from Stephen Silver features two glittering emerald cut diamonds; a 3.00-carat L-M color, VS2 clarity diamond, and a 0.82-carat M-N color, VS1 clarity diamond, for a total of 3.82 carats of diamonds.
Fancy Intense Yellow Marquise Diamond Ring
Stephen Silver turns the typical marquise setting on its axis with this east-west yellow diamond engagement ring.
The unique platinum engraved ring features a sunny 3.03-carat Fancy Intense Yellow color, VVS2 clarity marquise cut diamond (GIA-certified) set with 0.18 carats total of round brilliant cut diamonds (G-H color, VS-SI clarity).
Pink Padparadscha Sapphire Ring
Padparadscha sapphires evoke the hues of a tropical lotus flower with their characteristic pink and orange hues, and this pink Padparadscha ring from Stephen Silver is a magnificent specimen of the rare gem.
This original ring by Stephen Silver features a 5.25-carat emerald cut Ceylon Padparadscha sapphire specimen (AGL certified), its pink color enhanced by its 18 karat rose gold mounting. The showstopping stone is flanked by two magnificent trapezoid diamonds weighing 1.79 total carats (H Color, VVS2 clarity) set on a platinum band.

About Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry
Stephen Silver is a Silicon-Valley based gemologist, geologist, diamonteer, and philanthropist. Over the course of the last 40 years, Silver has established a reputation amongst his global network of jewelry industry contacts and elite gemstone collectors for his expertise in diamond and color gemstone cutting and jewelry design.
